Evaggelia Pitoura, Professor at the University of Ioannina, and founding member of the Greek ACM-W chapter was awarded one  of  the Hellenic Foundation for Research & Innovation (H.F.R.I.) research grants under the program “Support Faculty Members & Researchers” that recognizes excellence in research.  The proposal was one of the 13 projects awarded to senior researchers in “Mathematics and Computer Science” nationwide. The project “GraphTempo: Exploring the History of Temporal Graphs”, will advance new methods for discovering information from the evolution of large graphs through time, with key applications in social, interaction and communication networks.
