Moderator: Angela Antoniou

 Angela Antoniou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Archival, Library & Information Studies at the University of West Attica specializing in “Adaptive Educational Technologies in Cultural Information”. She has many years of teaching experience (undergraduate and postgraduate level), is a course coordinator in the postgraduate program Cultural Heritage Materials and Technologies of the Department of History, Archeology and Cultural Materials Management at the University of Peloponnese and supervises doctoral dissertations at University College London, University of Peloponnese and University of West Attica. She is a collaborating researcher at the ATHENS Research Center and at the Department of Information Studies at the University College London. She has participated in many national and international research projects and has been the scientific coordinator and member of the steering committee of the European project H2020 CrossCult. She has numerous publications in conferences and international journals, but also organizes scientific conferences and publication of proceedings. She holds a degree in Preschool Education from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a degree (BSc) in Clinical with Social Psychology (University of Kent at Canterbury, UK), a postgraduate degree (MSc) in Human Interaction with Ergonomics (University College London, UK), a music degree, a Piano Diploma, as well as a PhD in Educational Technologies from the University of Peloponnese, Department of Computer Science and Technology.

Angela Maragopoulou

Angela Maragopoulou is a CIO and technologist, a lean-agile awarded leader and a data scientist. She has more than 20 years of Telecommunications industry expertise, with achievements in Agile Delivery, IT delivery, IoT product delivery and operation, Pre-Sales, Sales and Service Management of Complex Solutions, Enterprise Sales and Transformation. Currently she is leading an international organization as CIO B2B / SVP Business Solutions for Deutsche Telekom AG, the largest TelCo in Europe, assisting the business with building new business models with exciting IT. She has achieved dramatic adoption and innovative use case approach, for low-cost predictiveness and preventiveness as well as operational excellence with large-scale AI. She has delivered and operated globally the Vodafone IoT and UCC portfolio. She is currently Advisory Board Member for Beyond Connectivity for the TM Forum and a Board Member of Telekom IT GmbH.

Ioanna Lykourentzou

I am an Assistant Professor at Utrecht University. My research focuses on crowd systems, their potential and their applications. I develop methods that help people collaborate, coordinate their efforts and innovate at-scale and efficiently, online or within physical spaces. To do so, I apply an interdisciplinary approach, which combines computational science (machine learning, agent-based modelling, mathematical optimization) with social sciences (personality testing, team building).

Prior to joining UU I worked as a Senior Researcher at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST), where I coordinated the European H2020 project CROSSCULT. In the past I have also collaborated with the Human-Computer Interaction Institute of Carnegie Mellon University as a visiting researcher, and with INRIA Nancy-Grand Est and the Public Research Center Henri Tudor as a postdoctoral fellow. I hold a Ph.D. and an Electrical and Computer Engineering degree from the National Technical University of Athens. I am part of the ERCIM and Marie-Curie alumni networks.

Sofia Tsekeridou

Dr. Sofia Tsekeridou (F) is currently a Senior Research and Innovation Manager - Expert at the Research and Innovation Development Dept. of INTRASOFT International, heading the Security and Safety Lab. She previously held the position of Associate Professor at Athens Information Technology (AIT) heading the Multimedia, Knowledge and Web Technologies research group. She has acquired an Electrical and Computer Engineering Diploma and a PhD in Computer Science, both from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Dr. Tsekeridou has more than 20 years' experience in research, development & innovation activities, as Senior Researcher, Senior Project and/ or Technical Coordinator as well as Senior Technical Architect and Leader of software development teams and software integration and testing activities, in more than 40 national, industrial and EU-funded research and development projects in the areas of multimedia processing/AI, e-learning, data analytics/ data mining, information security/ cybersecurity, information retrieval/search engines/recommender systems and knowledge engineering/data science in diverse application domains (public safety and security, e-health, learning, tourism, digital libraries, media, entertainment/gaming, etc.). She has published many papers at international scientific journals and conferences and has contributed to the TV Anytime and W3C standardization bodies. She is currently involved in the IEEE P2145 Working Group on Blockchain Governance, and its sub-group on interoperability. She has served as a reviewer to many international scientific conferences and journals, as an evaluator to EU-funded and national projects and proposals, as organizing chair, tutorial speaker, and TPC member in many conferences. Dr. Tsekeridou is a senior member of IEEE and a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece. She is an active validated member of Europol’s Data Protection Experts Network and has received personnel security clearance in 2019 from the National Ministry of Defence at EU SECRET and NATO SECRET level.

Christina Tsigkakou

Christina Tsigkakou, Consulting, CX Cloud Applications Leader, Oracle Hellas
Christina Tsigkakou is leading the Customer Experience (CX) and Human Capital Management (HCM) consulting team for Greece, Cyprus, Malta and Albania. She joined Oracle in 2007 as an Applications Consultant and has started leading the CX and HCM teams the last five years. She has worked previously as an Applications Consultant in Accenture. She has a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from the University of Piraeus and also an MBA (Masters in Business Administration) from the University of Cardiff, UK.

Λίλιαν Γκλαβά

Lillian Gklava, Quality Assurance Manager at ATOS
Lillian has obtained a bachelor degree in Physics (University of Patras, Greece) followed by a Master degree on Artificial Intelligence (University of KU Leuven, Belgium). She has broad experience in Machine Learning applications and has been involved in both industrial (NOKIA, Texas Instruments) and academic (KU Leuven, Belgium) settings.She has been involved in numerous projects spanning Software engineering to Biological and Bioinformatics systems.Lillian is currently leading a team of software engineers as Quality Assurance Manager at ATOS, division of unified communication and collaboration.
