The Expression of Interest to host a future GEC is open!
The Summit on Gender Equality in Computing (GEC), organized by the Greek ACM-W Chapter, has been established as an international initiative aiming at promoting gender-equal access to the computer-related scientific frontiers. The Greek ACM-W Chapter is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for hosting and chairing the GEC Summit in the future.
We invite expressions of interest from our members, either from academia and/or organizations. Candidate institutions must have the ability to host a one or two-day event. They will be assisting the Greek ACM-W Chapter by proposing the summit venue, managing supporting services (catering, reception, internet services, etc.), identifying sponsorship opportunities, engaging with the local community and press, and others. The preferred dates for the event are Thursdays and/or Fridays, either in June or July.

Upon receipt of the EOI, the GEC Steering Committee will review and determine those EOIs that will be moved forward, and request from bidders to provide further budget and organizational detail.
